THEMED HOLIDAYS have become the trend in recent years – spas, yoga, safaris, but I was pleased to experience India in another way – through art. This exhibition (in San Francisco) features more than 75 examples of paintings, ceramics, furniture, and other decorative arts, revealing the legacies of the interaction – and the mutual fascination – between Asia and Europe over the past four centuries.
